…of PHOTO FRIDAY!

(pause for applause)

Unfortunately I don’t have much time on my hands between “revision” and applications. Oh, the applications, why won’t they ever end. There’s just too much to do and not enough time, so just bare with me but it wil be back as promised. I’ve got some great photos to share… at least in my opinion, but in the meantime you shall just have to sit tight… What does that even mean?

NBA

No, not the National Basketball Association, or even the National Boxing Association for that matter as I haven’t the slightest interest in either of those sports. Rather an acronym I created for what I’m calling ‘Not Blogging in April’ which is fairly self explanatory. The reason for this is simply that I haven’t enough time to be writing a blog alongside my ongoing revision for my upcoming GCSE’s as all my free time has been booked by the numerous jobs I am taking on as the day that I am flung out of the nest comes ever closer. It’s time I started building a portfolio with the appropriate work experience so that I may give myself the best possible opportunity. It’s time I set my priorities straight and this blog isn’t one of them. Nevertheless, tumblr has always provided me with an endless source of inspiration and more and thus one can still expect to see plenty of reblogs on anything and everything that I find interesting, just be aware that there will be a lack of original content in the coming months. That having been said one can look forward to Photo Fridays returning momentarily as I finally have some pictures worth sharing as a result of some of hopefully more work experience. I appreciate your understanding.

WELL, IT’S OFFICIAL…
I DON’T HAVE A LIFE!

I can’t believe I’ve made it this far without going clinically insane! I never imagined myself blogging let alone for all this time. It can’t at all be good for my health but it’s become rather addictive and so I intend to stick around for while longer or so he says, as I’m sure that a lot of you have learnt over the past few months never to keep me to my word and whilst I think of myself as quite a reliable person in the real world, my presence on the internet is rather unpredictable.

Laying aside my nonexistent social life and online presence, I would like to take this opportunity to give myself an unworthy pat on the back because despite the minuscule number of followers I have accumulated over the past few months, I’ve far exceeded my own expectations as  it’s not like me to ever complete anything. I honestly could say that this blog is something I’m proud of and that’s all that really matters to me. However, I not only see this point as a chance to reflect on what I have achieved, but also to look forward to what more is there to come and so without further ado here is a list of… 

What you can expect to see over the next 500 posts:

1. More rantrageous stories as I return to my roots in classic fashion by doing what I do best - blame the world for all my troubles
2. Music Mondays again and this time I’m keeping to my word and in the more than likely case that I do miss a Monday I shall be sure to make up for it.
3. The occasional Photo Friday as you may have noticed that my ever increasing workload makes it difficult to find time to do anything, let alone pick photos
4. A relationship story as an Anon had kindly requested many months ago - it has been written but not postificated as I’ve been avoiding/saving it for the right time
5. The Silver International Award compilation video as I refuse to let copyright restrict me from sharing my hard work. I will find a [legal] way around this!

All this and much more, so stay tuned..

It’s doubtful that you would have taken any notice, but in the unlikely case in which you did - I’m back and I’m sorry for having slacked off recently. I know that my work has not been up to standard and although there are a number of reasons for this I shall save myself the time because I can’t be bothered, also partly the reason to why there was no photo friday to see out 2011, and a picture of me with reindeer puppet the week before. But let’s be honest it was adorable… and I’m not talking about the reindeer. However one musn’t think for a moment that I did not fulfill my duties as I was suffering from a mild case of the “ceebs”, as in fact I was making an effort to get past my tumblr newbdom by creating a separate page on my blog for my edits rather inconveniently titled “edits” to which I have been adding photos every friday quite religiously. Alright. Fine! I added them today, but there are more than enough in there to make up for my absence. So without further ado may I present you with the link. Use it wisely, by which I mean share it with your friends and tell me what you think. There’s nothing I love more than a bit of constructive criticism to lower my self-esteem.

Autodrome

JUST WOKE UP! Had a much deserved lie in this morning, but now I’m off to the Dubai Autodrome equipped with my Olympus digital camera to catch the touring cars in action! As my dad works for one of the teams there, I can get into the pits and garages which is a real photographers delight, so  you might get a second PHOTO FRIDAY today if you’re lucky ;)
