Whippy Lights by Nahoko Koyama
Speaking of lights. I can’t recall if I ever told you guys that over the past few monts I’ve been designing packaging for a CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lightbulb) for my Graphics GCSE, and as I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place I was wondering if any of you creatives out there had any ideas you would like to share.
A good start. Looks like something may come of this yet.
Secondary Blog
My apologies for having not blogged this weekend but I’ve been rather busy working on a secondary blog as well as a mountain of work, not to mention the Silver International Award footage, which may well be behind schedule on as I wasn’t able to look at it in the week. And so I ended up spending my entire weekend within the confinement of the four walls of my room making prototypes for my development phase of my coursework and although I did not find that particularly exhilarating I did however enjoy researching and fiddling with the graphics. Not that you care about any of that, so moving swiftly onwards I’m sure you all must be wondering ‘but Jai, what does that have to do with a secondary blog?’ Well I’m glad you asked. (you probably didn’t but I’m going to answer it anyway). Well I come across so much typography through both my graphics coursework and tumblr itself that I figured that there was enough content to make a blog of it’s own, and there’s only one way to find out. So just like any other overly ambitious teenager I am now in the process of creating a secondary blog. Off course I don’t plan on doing this on my own because that would be highly inconvenient and thus I am on the lookout for administrators. So if you’re interested don’t be afraid to leave a message in my ask box.
Shattered
I am physically and mentally exhausted. between graphics coursework, essays, mock examination revision, real examination revision and my own side projects such as the Silver International Award footage as well as this blog, I’ve been getting to bed at midnight for the past 3 days and I don’t think I can find the strength to keep myself awake. Even caffeine can’t save me now. Goodnight tumblr. I shall see you tomorrow.

It was PSHE day yesterday and for some reason we had to design a hotel and market it… don’t ask me why because I have no clue, but being a graphics student I worked solely on the advertising as well as the powerpoint presentation and the logo which you can see here. What do you think?
